What left the factory August 2016

The summer holidays have come to an end, but a hectic August has meant a full-on month for the team at Corilla Plastics! These are just a few of the projects that have kept us busy…

Top of the class…

An order has just left the factory for one of our longest standing clients who specialise in providing gowns for the legal profession, peers and parliamentary officials. The company also supplies gowns for use at graduation ceremonies throughout the UK and these gowns need to be packed, stored and moved around securely from university to university. So that they always arrive in pristine condition, for their transportation we provide specially designed 60” wheeled hamper bins. This ensures that the leaders of tomorrow look their best when they receive their degrees…

Life on the ocean wave…

Another of our clients is at the forefront of marine solutions – creating transfer capsules to enable offshore workers to move safely from exploration platforms to ships. The company works across the globe – from the Arctic to the Tropics – and are involved in around one million transfers each year.

Here at Corilla Plastics we roto-mould a key element of one of their specialist capsules, a four-person carrier for routine crew transfers and medical evacuations.

A drive for perfection…

Our highly-regarded expertise in specifying, testing and manufacturing fuel tanks has resulted in one of the UK’s leading suppliers of adapted and specialist vehicles approaching to us to produce the specialist fuel tanks they need for some of their vehicles. This month has seen the design, development and testing stages of the project with production beginning imminently.
